The last spike

We just went to Craigellachie and saw where they drove in the last spike for the CPR tracks. It is a small little are with a caboose and a few of the of the old train tracks. They also had a little gift shop. On our way there we saw a train so when we got there we knew a train was going to go by. Fran counted 150 cars and 5 engines or something like that.
After Wilma showed us where they used to live and where Jim had his reception after he got married.
Earlier today Wilma and Garry drove us around and showed up where the mudslide hit in Sicamous. The creek even got diverted so they had to build a new bridge.
Tomorrow we are heading off early in the morning to see the Columbian ice fields and Lake Louise, but of course we will be stopping along he way. Wilma and Garry will join us till we reach the ice fields.
